RingCentral acquires AI speech analytics startup DeepAffects

RingCentral has acquired DeepAffects to carry AI speech analytics to its unified communications and contact center platforms.

DeepAffects, a Milpitas, Calif.-dependent startup, specializes in employing AI to review speech from cellphone or video phone calls. RingCentral closed the deal this month. There is no timeline for when the DeepAffects attributes will be accessible for RingCentral consumers.
